Sierra Sanchez, M.A., (she/her) is a clinical psychology Doctoral Extern at Fulton Psychological Group, where she is gaining supervised clinical hours. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed therapy, Sierra emphasizes client-centered treatment approaches that cater to the unique needs of her clients.
Sierra has experience working with a wide range of individuals, from children to older adults, addressing various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, grief, life transitions, OCD, self-esteem issues, and ADHD. Her previous work at a community counseling clinic allowed her to develop her skills in providing effective therapeutic support and intervention.
In addition to her clinical work, Sierra has mentored middle school students, supported incarcerated teens, and provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children under 10. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego and a Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Currently, she is pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at California Lutheran University. Known for her compassion, empathy, and warm demeanor, Sierra is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment for her clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys with understanding and care.
